Attempting to do Burnout with 2006 350z Track
Hi, i was at the track today, wanted to give the 350 a bit of a thrashing..
anyway.. i turned VDC off, dumped clutch, put foot on brake to do a nice standstill.. but the revs just dropped.. is it ABS?..
are you able to do burnouts in a 350z track 06?
advice please?
Thanks

If you have clutch and brake pushed down at the same time and roll off the clutch into the brake jamming the gas you can do it. Once you get the wheels spinning a little then get "all up in that gas"...
If you just dump the clutch and stomp the brake the abs/vdc whatever you have will take over and cut power. (even if it's turned off)
OR dump the clutch turn the wheel and hang on! (burn outs in concentric circles are more fun anyway)

just roll off the clutch and hit the brake while in the gas way easier. if your on street tires then you should give them a quick spin ,doing a burn out will only be make things worse the tires will be greasy not sticky.

you can remove the brake lame fuse (its a 10a red fuse on the driver side kickpanel next to your dead pedal it says brake lamp or something like that) then:
stick 2 wires in where the fuse goes
attach one to a switch
atach the switch to the fuse with a piece of wire
attach the other wire to other end of fuse
mount switch anywhere

From personal experience 2003 touring as bad as it might be for the transmission gun it in first (Clutch drop at 3500 rpm and thats enough to keep my rear wheels spinning) and turn the wheel.

question has been asnwered pull the brake light fuse in the car driver side left side under the dash...u wont have brake lights but u can do a burnout at the track so dont forget to put it back in..also u will get lights on ur dash dont be alarmed because everything is fine..burnout and run it....
but im assuming u are just running street tires, and street tires need little to no burnout and nothing smoky or they get more slippery so u really dont even need to do this...a rev and dump it a little to spin them a tad and clean the tires off and go...oh and dont drive thru the water box if u are running street tires go around
