Finally Broke 13's Today: Please Evaluate *Video*

So I finally took my G35 to the 1/4 mile today at Sacramento Raceway. I did better than I expected. I also had 1/2 tank of gas.

Car: 2005 Infiniti G35 6MT REVUP

Tires: Goodyear Eagle RS-A's 245/40/19 on OEM 19's

DA: -395

I had a hard time spinning upon shifting to 2nd gear. I honestly believe I could have gotten better times if I didn't spin at the very beginning of 2nd gear on almost every run. I'm almost surprised that I trapped at 105 mph on one run.

It was Test & Tune day and most of my runs were solo runs so don't mind the r/t's.

Runs went like this:

Best times marked in bold.

Reaction: .615
60ft: 2.293
1/8 E.T.: 9.245
1/8 MPH: 80.430
E.T.: 14.140
MPH: 102.066

We are seeing a number of personal best times. Cold weather - good numbers. 105 MPH is exceptional. Good job.

Nice traps for a G

Nice times. You have pretty much the same mods as me and we are trapping the same. Do you have any weight reduction done?

No weight reduction done at all. Full street trim. 1/2 tank of gas.

I had my car weighed at the track. It's heavy.

Did you get your car weighed?

I thought there was more of a weight difference between the G and the Z.

AJ how much does your car weigh? My G weighs 3720 with me in it with nothing removed.

Jairen nice times get your 60fts down and you will be faster. Get some beefier tires or DRs for traction.

I got a 1.8 60ft with my PS2's 265/40-18.

With both seats in and nothing in my trunk I weighed in at 3280 and I was in the car. I only weigh 140. I guess that actually makes my car 250lb lighter if you werent in the car when you wieghed it. Still seems light for a G. I've always heard that G's were in the 3600lb range.

Gs weigh 3450+ from what I know. Seems about right for 1/2 tank of gas. Also depends on trim and options/features.

Edit: Sick times, though. That DA really helps out, I'm sure.

I'll probably go again in the spring time.

I tried to tell you I was hitting up the track in another thread.

I would much rather pay the extra money and go to a test and tune instead of the Wednesday night races. More runs, more laid back, pick a lane, small crowd, most of all...ricer free.
