i couldnt get into the 8's at all. my best was a 9.3. i couldnt get off the line. it was getting better towards the end of the night when i started dropping air pressure but i didnt drop enough. the car is setup for auto xing but wanted to get times before and after the tune. i was running nitto nt01 which i love for auto x, but just didnt seem like they wanted to hook up and the 1/8th. i was frustrated but we have our good nights and bad nights. the tires came installed on the wheels when i bought them and just had way too much tire pressure friday night. you seemed to be hooking up pretty good though

Hopefully we get to see you out there along with more Z's and G's. It's hard to get VQ owners to come out. Most would just rather meet up in parking lots where the cars don't move. There are a few of us with G's and another one with an auto 350z who ran a best of 9.2 that night.
I'd bet those NT01's with those stiff sidewalls aren't helping you get off the line. With the right tires or even some cheap tires, you'd be in the 8's easily. What were you trap speeds? 80+?
There is a small group doing a Palomar mountain in a couple of weeks if you or any locals want to come out.

I still have the wheel hop issue. Not as bad as before, but it still there The rear diff bushing alone only took care of about 40-50% of the harshness. I still have to install the front set and subframe bushings. My OEM bushing was shot to hell. To most noticeable difference is that the rear doesn't want to swing out on the 1-2 shift anymore. Stays straight like a good boy.
