You could pick up the Tein tie rod ends and use them with either:
-OEM tie rods
-JIC tie rods
-LS-automotive tie rods
-Tein tie rods
Or you could obviously also use the OEM tie rod ends with any of the above choices as well.
Is this correct?

Tein inner rods will not work with 350Z OEM stock outters! you must buy Tein inner and outter as a complete set to work.
i contacted a vender that had them in stock. he opened the package and read the instructions! the Tein Instructions informs you that it is not possilbe. tein threading is different!
vender said: of course that its so you can replace ends only when you need to...

the vender i spoke to was www. Phase2motortrend (dot com). he opened the box and read the instructions and told me that it wouldnt work inner with stock outter and vise versa. Due to threading.

sorry.... well if you have them on your car then they must work.
well, then, i was on the phone with the vendor that Alex P. did recommend (phase2motortrend dot com). and he didnt want to sell me just the inners because of what he was reading on the tein instructions said you need both and cant be used with OEM....unless hes making crap up?! do you still have the instructions from your tein inner purchase???
Tein inner + factory ends works then if you got them...

or maybe the tein instructions say that because they tested theirs with only their ends and didnt with stocker ends? or marketing ploy? ????

Either way, i ordered my tein inner and outter rod ends today from SGP Racing in Houston. they have 5 sets coming in soon and were selling for 90 bucks inner, and 90 bucks outter. recommend them. they are good guys.!

I have noticed all over the web statements that tein tie rods cannot be made to fit with the oem ends. However, like has been mentioned, manufacturers claims are not always correct. That's why I was surprised when the post came that they work together
So, it's good news to know that they are all basically interchangable.
Thanks for pointing this out.

Rich, for the price you are wanting to sell them for, you can buy from various other sources. I am not sure if it is worth the trouble, as Alex pointed out. There are links on this thread to LS tie rod pics and Teins, and I think Vivid has pics of the JIC rods. For $90, I'm going with the Teins. Besides, they sell the outer ends if I break the OEM ones.

Is that more than Tein and JIC?? If so, I will scrap the project.
Thanks for the heads up.

I've got the tiens outer and inner because my stock one on the p/s had a hole and no grease. anyway they can be set to stock swc or for more angle you can use the spacer they provide. However they don't come with any washer locks so if you want to retaine you stock angle then you would have to buy new ones seperately. Haven't had a chance to test them as my car went to the shop 3 days later but the difference in the steering angle is huge. I will try to post pics this week.
