Brand new! Quaife QDF13L viscous replacement

I have a brand new, unopened in the box Quaife limited slip differential. This is the QDF13L replacement for factory limited slip. It will work with base open diff cars but other parts are required. Any questions PM me. I'm asking for $800 shipped.

I am Interested, PM Me, I may be reading the Post wrong, but was this a Warranty replacement? Why are You selling it?

InsaneWang 06-03-2016 08:02 AM

Pm sent. Selling because I never got to install in my Z.

InsaneWang 06-10-2016 06:42 PM

Bump!
This is a direct replacement for G35's and 350Z's with factory LSD but it will work in a non LSD car as well. Instructions are provided with the diff on where to cut the factory axle shaft.

HRMoneyPit 06-10-2016 07:12 PM

So what exactly is needed to put this into a VLSD?

InsaneWang 06-10-2016 07:49 PM

This will bolt in directly if your car has a factory VLSD. You may have to adjust shims as far as getting proper gear mesh but no cutting or axle stub swapping is required

HRMoneyPit 06-10-2016 07:54 PM

Then why is it that venders sell us as its easier to install in a open diff and with the open diff model?

InsaneWang 06-10-2016 07:55 PM

That's a question for the vendor, not me

InsaneWang 06-16-2016 06:28 AM

Bump! Somebody make offers, I need this gone

jonnyidfw 06-16-2016 08:55 AM

PM Me Your Best Price, I am interested, I do not need it now but will in the future... If I can get for a price that makes sense to Buy it Now, I will.

Thanks,
Jonathan

Is it just the lsd or does it come with the stub axle flange? It says you need that if replacing the factory LSD but if you have the base model With open dif it's a direct replacement.

InsaneWang 07-24-2016 08:30 AM

It is just the LSD, you can use a different stub axle or cut the one you have. It has directions for both even though it is listed as a VLSD replacement

InsaneWang 07-30-2016 05:11 PM

Price bump! $800 shipped

HRMoneyPit 07-31-2016 07:53 AM

I've been in this thread since day one waiting for a price so cheap I can't say no lol

InsaneWang 07-31-2016 08:51 AM

Make me a reasonable offer man, I'm willing to negotiate within a reasonable price

HRMoneyPit 07-31-2016 11:55 AM

Hummmmmm. Not ready to lol

Just bought my Y pipe and tune. Wallet is not too happy

This diff isn't worth the asking price second hand. If you lift a wheel, this diff goes full open and you'll lose all torque to the wheel on the ground.

I have no horse in this race, so i'm speaking objectively here when I say your statement is for lack of a better word...just stupid. You have no value/performance basis to support your claim that it's not worth the price, it hardly qualifies as second hand as it's unused, and it's ability to put power down when a wheel is lifted does not invalidate it's ability to perform as an LSD primarily due to the fact that a lifted wheel occurs so so very rarely both on track and in daily driving that it's a non-issue for probably 98% of the drivers out there. This may not be the ultimate diff for a track focused car or drifting but anyone else will be satisfied.

HRMoneyPit 08-01-2016 11:34 AM

And it works quite and smooth

jonnyidfw 08-01-2016 09:24 PM

I have already sent the seller an offer in the last 24hrs, just awaiting a reply.....

Sheasta 08-02-2016 02:00 PM
