VLSD with Central20 3.9 Final Drive Installed
4 Attachment(s)
For sale is a complete pumpkin VLSD that I bought from another member here a couple years ago. I picked it up for the fact that it already had 3.9 gears professionally installed which saved a ton on the gearing parts and install. There is a slight bend on the flange from previous shipping you may have to straighten although If I recall right it still bolts up easily. It has literally sat in my garage for two years so I figure somebody else can get some use out of it. I'm in no rush to sell but open to offers.
I'm asking $850 OBO + shipping unless you're nearby the Tampa FL area, in which case you're welcome to come pick up. Original Post https://my350z.com/forum/drivetrain/...installed.html "I took this differential carrier off of a 2006 Nissan 350Z Enthusiast that I recently purchased. The Central20 3.9 final drive is AWESOME, but unfortunately it's not legal for the autocross class I run in. VLSD is the original unit that came on the car, and has 65k miles on it. Central20 Final Drive was installed about 1 1/2 years after the previous owner purchased the car new, so I'm estimating it has 54,000 miles on it. Final Drive was professionally installed by PTuning in VA at a cost $550 (see pictures). Differential and final drive operate flawlessly. No unusual sounds or abnormal wear. I really hated to take it off, but I bought the car primarily for autocross." |
Bumpin, easy and cheap torque increase anyone?

Just trying to help you out.... No way anybody is going to pay $1,000 for a VLSD.
I'm about to sell mine since I have the Quaife and it has similar miles so I have been doing a little bit of research on the value. Not trying to threadjack at all, just trying to help you move something. |

I appreciate the input. I actually was going to go with the quaife for it's helical design but this popped up first and I figured I'd save a bit of cash. I should've added OBO, I didn't mean to sound pretentious, perhaps I perceived the value of the gears too highly. I'll reevaluate and adjust. Thanks.

:werd: haha, being a know it all is a bit of a pandemic it seems. To me, it's the only reasonable way to take it but everybody has their own opinion I guess :dunno: Thanks for taking the time to help!
