Default Gtr

This thread has gone way off topic - but I will say that I am already on at the top of a waiting list at one of the big dealers (I know the dealership owner) but only a few dealers will be getting any (2-3 per dealer) and that Canada is getting about 125 next year. I know I should not get a year one car - but damn everythign I read makes me drool

they just announced the US pricing $69-71,000.....even if they keep it in line with the I am getting one - it is a steal. I do not expect them to lower it due to the strong CDN$. But they better not add in an additional $10-20,000 just because we are in Canada.

you sure are gloomy...best they can ask is 10-20% more (I hope) which means about 80,000 on the road (as those US$69-71 prices included delivery/frieght charges). We shall have to wait a few weeks to hear what Canadians will be paying. If more than mid-80's I will get one from the US

I was quoted about $88k by the manager of the local Nissan dealer -- he said that was the number being quoted by Nissan Canada exec's.
Nobody seems to know for sure since they still don't have official price lists

88k sure sounds alot better than the rumours of 110-120k price tag i've been hearing.

Don't forget that there will be different performance packages/trim levels.

Even my boss doesnt have all the details yet, just put down a healthy deposit and is waiting for the final pricing.

We need Spec_Tacular to jump in and give us some details!!!

Spec_Tacular! WHERE ARE YOU!

Edit: I pm'd him a link to this thread, hopefully he replies with some solid #'s.

Yesterday they announced that there would be two models in the US one at $69 and one at $71 (frieght in)...so can assume we will get two as well....there is also banter about a V model coming next year (for those who would want to tune it up).

Hey guys no official Cdn price yet. Expect that it will be higher then the American price. The GT-R is made in Japan like the 350Z and Canada has different taxes/tariffs set up with Japan for import/export. I would guess 80K+. It will become availible in June 2008 and it's very exciting. Not all Nissan dealers will get the product. A large investment into training, tooling and equipment is required to carry the GT-R. I also would expect to only have one model in Canada and if so likely the top end model. My reason for this thought is because we only have one model of Z coupe currently.

As Nissan sends me updates I'll keep you guys posted with what I can.

It shifts faster than manual anyway.

0.2 seconds to shift
