Its not a lot. OEM was around 7.5-8lbs. Depending how sturdy you make the new ones, they are between 1-3lbs (mine are 1.5). Headlights were 6lbs each and the covers came out at like 250grams.

Ever since switching to a single exhaust I get crazy back fires now, or they're atleast more audible.

VQs sounds like filthy racecars with the right exhaust. I hate driving around with mine, but WOT at 6000rpm sounds like pure sexy filth.
I hear Bogie is a really nice track. Its just so bloody far for us, I think I would only get up there if I was competing in something that went up. I might push for OTA to go next year.
Random, why didn't you go with a Z? Not saying I don't like the G, but you track your car more than most Z owners.

The car was never meant to see the life it has honestly - I bought it as a toy, its never been my DD. But after my first session at Shannonville in I think...2006, that was it, I was hooked...started with brakes, then tires, then sway bars and snowballed from there. You know how it is.
In retrospect I shoulda went with a Z but I loved the lines of the G. Still do. From time to time I keep an eye out for a cheap Z shell to turn into a pure track car, but honestly, Im in so deep on the G that I think she'll turn into it herself. Its satisfying in a sense, that GT3 owner I played with that day (in the video) asked the organizer who I/the car was. That dude lives at the track and has a few bays for his cars at the track. Stuff like that makes me smile cause people dont expect it.
Currently looking for a Datsun 510 to puttz around on the streets with the family.

I nearly bought a 510 a few years back. I think I didn't because I knew I would always want either a 240, or something convertible like a TR6.
The G is so close to the Z anyway, its not a big deal, its just there is a lot more to take out When I gut my car I don't feel like I lost much, since it was a 2 seater with no trunk room to begin with.
