if its cold enough you can skate on the rideau river. Just be careful of like...ice potholes while skating haha.
Theres also a nice mountain area (i forgot the name since i didn't drive on it this year) that's right beside the government buildings and at night thats where the street racing scene is since it has some nice twisties. At the very top there is very nice scenery but will be very cold at this time.
Also try out some of the shwarma places - love it there compared to the ones in Toronto.

Ill be in my civic and who knows how many kms are left on the thing before it quits haha. I know Ottawa is boring, but thats where i was originally from so ya. Was in Montreal for labour day and that was awesome. Was thinking mont tremblant but I think ima save that for Jan/Feb and maybe go for a few days to celebrate my gf's bday around that time... and my bday as well since its 11 days apart But ill just say its for her
