Heard about this on the radio too and they said it was a G35. At 250kph what else would it be hahah... Going that fast in cold weather on, more than likely, standard tires is nuts.
Ok, who is it?
A motorist has been charged with stunt driving after allegedly being clocked by police doing 250 km/h on a Toronto highway.
The driver of a high-performance Infiniti was pulled over early Tuesday morning on Highway 400, just south of Finch Avenue, police said.
OPP Sgt. Dave Woodford told CBC News the driver showed a dangerous disregard for his own safety and other roadway users.
"I think it's insane that someone would even think of going this fast," Woodford said.
The driver faces a maximum $10,000 fine and the gain of six demerit points if convicted. The vehicle was impounded for a week under the province's street-racing legislation.
The driver has not been identified, but police said the person also owns a high-speed motorcycle.

WTF does this mean, what does this have to do with anything?
if he was on his bike he had a better chance of getting away?

good lord that man was moving. but how many people could be on the road for some one to be able to go that fast. there is no way you are weaving in and out of traffic going at that kinda speed.

Ya the whole winter tire thing makes me think the guy is a huge meat head. Nothing like having a tire rip apart at that speed! 140 is my limit on the snow donunts (moving with traffic, not weaving through it!). I forget what article it was, but it had pictures of the G, it was black, had painted red calipers and was apparently modified. Unless it had FI who cares if it was modified, it's not like any other mods make the car suprisingly faster lol.

When I heard the news on the radio today, I looked at my speedometer and the maximum is 260km/h.
I think the guy was trying to max out the speedometer.
But on winter tires, that's pretty crazy.
So it's safe to say that our Z can reach 250 km/h no problem too.
