Fram is like the Hadji mart brand of oil filters. They're about as crappy as you can buy. I've seem tests using fram filters that let freaking grains of sand thru.

I use K&N, they're not the absolute best at filtration, but they flow a lot and filter very well.

Its all about Synergyn oil. www.synergynracing.com We Use this stuff in our dragster and after a full season of racing the bearings look brand new, no joke. This is the same stuff that is used by Top Fuel and Pro Stock teams. As well as Nextell cup, and so on. Depending where you get it its about 10 bucks a quart. I swear by it. I seen guys that race with us use Royal Purple and they had bearing problems. RP gear oil and stuff if ok. For engine oil, use Synergyn.
