I have not thrown in the kitchen sink yet In fact, I have next to no power mods on my car as of yet, though with the new heads, headers, cams, and the "secret" stuff we did, it will be pretty heavily modded.

Also, like I said regarding Dynojets, the new generation ones are worlds away from the 248C of old. The same day I dyno'd my car last time (see my NA UTEC thread), an STi dyno'd, and both being bone stock, dyno'd lower than I have ever seen either car dyno.

In any event, for me, the real test is in the trap speed. A full weight Z with driver making 300 whp should trap in the area of 104-107 mph. Even with a newbie level 2.5 60 foot, that trap is still easily obtainable if the car is making the power projected. It is the only consistent way to do it...a known weight, a known distance, and a known final speed.

You guys get spoiled at these good tracks at sea level . Ive only seen one stock Z break 15 secconds at the local track . I dynoed on 2 different Mustang dyno's and got 350whp on both . Most of the time I would do 13.2 @ 105 with a 2.0 60ft [street tires] Ive got lucky one time and did 12.98 at 108 with a 1.98 60ft [ same tires ] . There were other car [ not G's or Z's ] trapping 105mph running 12.5's , but with slicks .

I agree with the trap speed measuring power, but I HIGHLY disagree with what you think is 300whp trap speed. I trapped 107.1 with a measly 260whp! I picked up 6mph trap with barely over 20whp over my baseline, now add 40whp to my best and you can see how I think your trap expectations are low.

With 300whp and an average driver Id expect 107-109mph, good driver 110+ EASY! BTW I ran with little gas and no spare, passenger seat and all panels still in the car My car with everything in was 3280, so figure right around 3200 race weight if I was lucky

I say 300 HP n/a is a pipe dream without major internal work. yes, I think you could get a dyno or two to read 300whp, but with all the variables and such, it wouldn't be legitimate 300whp

curious to see what comes of the run tomorrow

Alberto, etc - I was just going off what an online calculator gave me as the results (some drag strip in AZ). I've never dragged my car, nor have most of my customers, so not really sure what they should do - you would know better than I, as I know you drag your car quite a bit

I think that I would believe around 300 RWHP with those mods... I would say around 298 maybe 300 if you are lucky. But 313 is unbelievable and I am at a loss...

Dyno early, take advantage of the moist air!

If it pulls 310rwhp+, everyone will go nuts. Then, everyone on line will get frustrated wondering why their Z pulls less.
