What's a better investment,JWT flywheel or 3.9 gear?

What do you think would be a better investment, jwt flywheel or 3.9 gear?

If I were staying n/a I would get the 3.9 gear and wait on the jwt flywheel until your stock clutch gives out.

+1

I would say flywheel, as you'll probably enjoy the quicker revs more on a daily driver. The 3.9 only seems to benefit those who auto-x or track.

cant seem to stay off the top end of the rev`s. WAY QUICKER THAN STOCK!

It depends on when you are doing it...

Do the flywheel when you get your transmission replaced under warranty... It will save you alot of labor costs...

only once?

you can have it replaced as many times as you want to go through the hastle and you have a reason for until you reach 60k, unless you have extended warranty.. then its up to that...

Or 4 years, right (or is it six)? That's going to be my limiting factor as I don't even have 225k on my '03.

Road Warrior Feb 22, 2006 06:46 AM

jumping in for a tranny question...is it now standard that everyone is replacing their trannies?

i have an 04 so i will replace if this is now a recall

I'd vote for the 3.9 gears

that's something you can actually feel. The JWT clutch is nice and all but won't give you as much accelleration as the gears - it'd cost like 2x as much though
