New To This Fair Lady
i was wondering what will the UR crank pulley do to my car. and i also wanna ask does installin it mess up my warranty.
i am looking around for the best air intake, with the most horse power ... ive made my research and i am really stuck here. either i buy the injen air intake or the JWT pop charger.
finally, plenum spacer, how many HP exactly does it give my car.... and is there any side effects, will it mess up my engine.
so basically my first modification for the Z are the following
UR crank
5/16' plenum spacer
air intake either Jwt or Injen
nismo exhaust
and thats it for now..... i dunno if you can help me out with more ideas to install , am not lookin for turbos or superchargers i want a daily driven car, that roars when i drive downtown.

From the sound of the post you have done some research. I have the set-up you headed minus the exhaust. I would suggest the JWT popcharger over the Injen 1) Cheaper 2) Easier access to clean 3) Produce the same gains. You'll be fine with the UR Crank Pulley. It smooths out your powerband and idle. I recommend the Motordyne 5/16 spacer w/ ISO gasket only cause I have it and haven't read of any problems from other owners. I would suggest though some high-flow cats or cat-delete pipes. They are cheaper ($200 APS Cat-deletes) are will free up most HP from your exhaust. As you can see from my sig I gained 17whp and 10wtq from those four parts and bought everything for $800. Also all of them are bolt-ons and can be done with a friend. Good luck!!!

it all comes down to what you want.
At this point in the lifecycle of the car, everyone has done one of just about every brand mod at least once, and has posted pictures, feelings, short term thoughts, long term thoughts, and often dyno's. It can take awhile, as there is a lot of info on the site, but if you spend the time and use the search function, you'll find the answers to almost every "which should I get" thread

Why would it overheat your engine? All it is, is a piece of metal that creates a greater spacer betwee the upper and lower halfs of the intake manifold.
You'll be fine.
PS, if you're interested I have the JWt and love it. I also have the AAM plenum spacer and am about to get the KJR lightweight pulley, kinetix highflows and a reflash.

Seems like more and more new Z owners are finally relizing the best bolt on mods.
SeinZ: Have you consider the UTEC over a flash? Reason is a flash is what $300-500 and a guess of what your car is doing. Also every mod afterwards you'll need to reflash. With the UTEC, around $950, you tune to your car and can retune for mods afterwards. Also with the remote map selector switch you can tune mulitple maps for mulitple fuels. IE: I run 100 octane at the track so I'll have a 100 octane map. I run 91 octane for daily driving I'll have a 91 map. Make sense? Just throwing an idea at ya.
