How Do You Get The Fuel Pump Out Of The Fuel Assembly?

Default How Do You Get The Fuel Pump Out Of The Fuel Assembly?

Im trying to un-install the walbro fuel pump and i do not want to break the fuel assembly. i have the assembly out of the car but how do i get the pump out?

when i did mine all i did if i remember correctly,is gave it a little tug and the two halves came apart.but if your putting the stock pump back in it wont fit tight.cause the cage had to be altered to get the bigger walbro to fit.

There are little tabs that need to be depressed. Just examine it closely, and you will figure out what needs to be pressed in, in order to remove the two halves of the pump assembly, and then the pump.

Just play with it....

And if u can get ur hands on a TNs Turbo installation manual it will explain---And Superchargedg is right ---U have to do a little improvisation

You can get the turbonetics install manual off their website. That was what I used to install my new pump.
