06 Z's , having trouble with 5th gear
 

lately ive been experiencing grind issues shifting into 5th gear .

has any 06's gotten that problem yet? not sure how i could implement the problem to the dealership... it happens every so often

Im an 03 and I have the same problem.

I have had a 05' and now a 06' neither of which had problems engaging 5th gear. Not with the OEM shifter nor a B&M STS.

How many miles have you put on?
I haven't heard of this.

im almost at 10k.

will dealerships fix this for u?

I have a 5th gear grind

No luck with the dealership yet, I also think i may have oil consumption. No help with that either.

I honestly doubt that I will ever get a Nissan again just because the customer service is so bad.

sounds like u have a bad dealership... luckily mine is really into modding... so we'll see what they say

I have an 04 with the same problem, the dealership is currently dropping in a new transmission
Mine has a vortech supercharger, the dealership said it makes no difference. They even offered to install a nismo clutch while the transmission was out, but it is way overpriced.

what dealership did u go to ??

Had Those Problems With My 04 , Had To Baby It Into 5th Wether I Was Downshifting Or Going Into. Dealership Replaced My Tranny No Problem. As Long As Ur Still Under Warranty Dealer Should Give You No Lip...imo.
