how many quarts in an 07's motor

i have just changed my oil and it took almost 5 and a 1/2 quarts , read the manual and it says 5 so wtf did i do should i drain little bit or just leave it as it is now , seems smoother and kinda better , probably is mental feeling cuase i spent $70 on royal purple ,:)

Do what the manual says. Overfilling is bad.

royal purple is really good. I used that on my mustang and made a big difference.

If you had a way of measuring, you generally want to put in as much as you take out.

Check your dipstick, if its high just drain some out.

On another note, buy one of these: http://www.fumotovalve.com/

Makes life easy ;)

eeeeee

it is exactly 5 and 1/2 because i checked it and it was (is) to the max notch of the dipstick , i think it's the manual that is screwed up because it says 5 quarts , and i have 5and a half up to the max dot.

I would drain a little to be safe. Overfilling is bad.
