Default The Z's max power..?

i searched.. but maybe i didnt type in the right thing, but at what RPM does the 03-05 reach it's max power output? is it at redline? or before?

ahh yes, z-tec XD, hmm so i wonder if shifting at 6200 would be better than the 6500 redline o_O

I assume that you are talking about horsepower and shift points? And also horsepower delivered to the rear wheels.

Redline is set close to peak horsepower with a built-in safety margin. Members will often raise the rev limited to reach peak horsepower. So the shift point is either at redline, or if you choose to push it a bit, at the adjusted redline.

^^^those are the whp dynos for a stock Z? those numbers are kinda high, i thought that stock Zs produced around 230-235 whp?

Mine did 240whp 239ft/lbs on a DJ SAE corrected

Couldn't resist... Stock 05' (5 miutes after the 03' ahead of me pulled 234.7 on the same dyno)
