Chirping noise between 3-5k rpm's
 

Hi all,
Just picked up a 03 red Z today.

However, there is one slight thing that bugs me.

When the car is between 3-5k rpm's it makes a chirping noise, like if it was a loose belt but i dont think it is... Has anyone else ever experienced this before?

I dont think its clutch/tranny related because it happens whether its in gear or not.

Is it the rear tires cutting loose on the pavement perhaps?

no, its always there

Get that bird nest from out of the hood. Na man it could possibly be one of the idle bearing possibly going bad.

hmm, i have a humming noise. Check my thread out I posted a video. It started after changing the flywheel, or maybe I just hear it now.
