NA Build Q's

Alright .. made my choice: Going NA instead of FI due to the following

Its an 03 Enthu / auto / with 62K on it. IMP it would be riskier to go FI since mine is a daily driver also. The body work is 90% done (waiting on the DAMD front lip) and a clear cost there after.

Here is what I have in Perf parts

1- Injen Intake and Stop Tech break kit

Here is a current shopping list

1- Eshaust
2- Plenium (crawford) or Cosworth
2.5 - MREV2 with spacers?
3- Injectors (not sure about it or what size)
4- Drive Terrain Pullys'
5- Grounding Kit
6- Header
7- Cams
8- Test Pipes
What else do I need and why?

Remeber, DAILY driver folks! :icon11:

IIMHO an N/A build on a DD has advantages to F/I (FYI: I am F/I). If you are serious about an N/A build you are going to spend more than a F/I setup, not to scare you but alert you to what is involved. You could do your build in stages to spread the cost.

You fail to meet the criteria for a real NA build.

More info on the "Drive Terrain Pullys'" :icon18:

Also, your reasoning for larger injectors? Might need them for the 15 hp increase you would make with all the parts you are considering throwing at your car?

Since it is a DD and I'm filthy rich... yet... it will done in stages. But whenever I see a good deal, its mine!

I don't get it...

I'm looking for some info,.. if the part list I listed has some parts that are irrelevent to NA built motors let me know. I am not looking to copete in HW competitions, just going faster (personal enjoyment)

Pulleys: Agency Power Underdriven Pulley kits

While reading up inthe tech area.. I realised most FI's used bigger injectors. Wondering if NA's really need them..... is it even worth it considerign the price v's hp gains (unless they are used and the left over life span)

For what you are looking to do, throw an exhaust at the car, and spend the remaining money you have at suspension work, wheels/tires, brakes. You will gain so little with bolt-ons it's not even worth it

wow...whats up with people posting this crap up in this sub-forum? if you ARENT touching the bottom end it aint a build dude. youre just talking about breather mods, which belongs in the intake/exhaust sub-forum.

Thanks for the tip. Like I said, I'm not a pro like you or most of the members here, just looking for some positive tips:cool:

This NA Forum has turned into the perfect definition of "Winning the battle, but losing the war."

Some of you guys probably need to clean your screens.

a tip would be to leave the fuel system alone...you dont need to touch it with a BUILT n/a VQ, let alone one with just a few boltons.
