Anyone think the Z's clutch is a little noisy

Also, I'm not too sure if it's just me but can you guys actually FEEL your car while you you're gassing it from 1st to 3rd? I don't know, it just feels kind of...metallic. It's hard to explain but the sound of the acceleration isn't as smooth nice and smooth sounding it sounds harsh.

I remember when I test drove an 03 the clutch was nice and stiff (really used muscle to push it in) and it sounded nice and had that 'purr' sound in every gear. My '06 doesn't have that nice 'purrrr' sound until 3rd gear. Maybe I'm just over-thinking it.
