Cusco MZ and RS LSD's, what's the diff? (nice pun!)

Hey, what's the diff between the Cusco MZ and RS LSD, and aren't there more than one of each type?

Raceboy - we have both the MZ and RS versions of the Cusco diff in stock - both are 1.5 way diffs.

MZ is a bit harsher to engage, as it has no balancing springs. Thee RS version incoroporates these springs so it evens out clamp as the LSD engages - much smoother and a bit faster to react as well (though we are talking milliseconds admittedly). No experience with KAAZ on the 350 yet, although on Subarus we have donet hem on, they are quite nosy and very abrasive to engage even when properly setup and broken in - we have preferred the Cusco RS's and Quaife ATB's for the Suabru's for that very reason (plus parts are also easer for us to come by should the need arise)

Taken from myreply to you this past weekend as to which diff to get.

The ones we carry most often are the MZ and RS 1.5 way - both can be made into 2 way diffs as well from the supplied instructions, though most people find 1.5 way is more than adequate, especially for a car that sees street and track - combines the best of both worlds overall.

For pricing, PM us or check my reply in the vendors wanted section.....
