Fuel pressure regualtor??Is that it??
Hello to everyone,
I need an advise..i have a full N/A 350z 2005 and i recently swapped my oem injectors to rc 440cc and walbro 255 fuel pump..after a few efforts in running the car up to 7500 rpm i noticed a problem in fuel delivery (i get many knocks through my utec ecu especially after 6800rpm) and some blank intervals while increasing the rpm, possibly because the pressure from the fuel pump cannot be transmitted to the injectors. I haven't changed my fuel regulator????would that cause the problem??and if that indeed is the problem what should i buy and from who?
thanks in advance...

the FPR is inside the fuel bucket. If you didnt drill it out as per the cj-motorsports.com installation DIY, then you'll have very high fuel pressure.
That would really only effect startup. You have other problems if you are knocking, bc technically you'd have too much fuel at 75-80psi fuel pressure

without injectors and fuel pump my engine could not work 100% because of the many tuning mods the engine has. I had a run with a bmw m3 e46 smgii and i was ahead with stock injectors(working at about 90%) and stock fuel pump at 7200rpm. Now the project is to go at 7500 and be about 370bhp. So as you can understand stock parts are useless at that point...
