GURU's needed: BAD over heating issue
1 year long story short. continuous over heating problem. what else could it be??? doing some research for a friend with a 04' G35. NO ENGINE MODS, just a stereo upgrade.
parts infinity has replaced: all coolant hoses, coolant hard lines, rad cap, radiator, fans, fan sensors, fan motors, thermostat. everything that has to do with the coolant system. he said one day he turned on the heater and it started to blow cold air then it started to over heat and thats when the problem began. im thinking it could be a warp head or a blown gasket. ANYONE with any ideas??? |
air bubble in coolant. Do a search and you will find out how many of us have had this issue.

well infinity has done all the work and supposedly they burped the system but i was thinking of going to a local autoparts and doing a pressure holding test as well but i will burp the system today and see what happens. thanks
any other ideas. |
It took me almost 2 hours to finally get all the air out of the system after i had to replace my ac condensor. Our engines are a b!tch to get the air pockets out.

Coupe, sedan? Has the fan clutch been replaced? I have had multiple ones with the fan clutch not coming on when hot. A/C tends to get very noisey and stop working also because of the high pressure from heat.
