uh..teh AEM is a blinkey blinkey light display as well...better off having something that will read actual A/F digitally. Without knowing what A/f determines what "blinkey light" turns on, its basically a waste IMHO. This is what is inherently wrong with the Autometer unit - none has any idea what A/F it takes to actually make it read in the "rich" zone.

FJO sells one right now with a digital display that would suit you well, and its quite affordable

Its not only a blinky blink, it also has a digital read out and its a wideband in a 2 1/16 gauge. to good to be true Here is a pic

Jan or feb is what I heard and under 400 MSRP for the whole kit including the sensor. I am looking forward to it.

? Would one need to add a threaded "bung-hole" to attatch? Or would the pick-up replace an existing O2 sensor?

you would have to add another one. Even though it will also carry both a 1v and 5v output. these o2 sensors read slower then factory units and it might throw a SES light. Just what I have heard.

i think i would pick an existing hole and rig the original sensor to read the correct running voltage.

Kind of a bulky box, though it can be permanently mounted and can drive a remote display if desired...

Any way to fit this AEM gauge into the 60 mm (2 3/8) gauge pod I have coming on the A-pillar? Some sort of outer ring or something?

Would you mind elaborating? Cheaper is better if you don't suffer any problems as a result. In my somewhat limited research, I have not found any definitive evidence that the Bosch LSU sensor has any problems that the more expensive NTK sensor doesn't. But I'd like to know if you know something I don't. Also, you can use the NTK sensor with the LM1, which is what setups like the FJO wideband use.
