Look at the vendor section...plenty of shops offering turn key packages for under 10k.

Undo your caps lock too!

Why not keep the 10k, use the Is300 as a toy, and the Z as a daily?

put your flame suit on, this has been asked a few thousand times. Anytime you go forced induction you lower the reliability of the motor, and even if it is built up, you have more moving parts and potential exhaust leaks, etc.

If I had $10k and wanted truly reliable DD, i'd do boltons such as intake, headers, test pipe (or high flow cat), cat-back exhaust, motordyne 5/16th" plenum spacer, popcharger intake, coilovers, nice staggered 18" wheels. And tune. Should be good for ~30whp
You'd still have a few thousand left, going deeper would be cams

If he has $10K set aside I would go for it. I would be conservative with FI and get the supercharger kit 8lbs boost max. GTM (see Thread here) has a very nice set up. You'll get a LOT more performance for the $$ than bolt ons.

Momentum Performance Turbo Kit: GT35R TurbO
FIC 775cc Injectors
New Aeromotive 340 HP Fuel Pump
Custom UpRev Tune w/ License
PS Turbine Blanket - To reduce temps
Installation
Configuration

$8,649 Installed
$7,995 Installed! > FOR A VERY VERY VERY LIMITED TIME!

http://g35driver.com/forums/florida-...turbo-kit.html

Edit: As pointed out this kit only works on G35/350z. OP you would need to look at Greddy kit or GTM and both will run you over 10k installed and then set aside money for a rebuild once it goes POP!!!

Don't forget gauges, clutch, exhaust, etc. if you're thinking of going FI. Not to mention some extra bones for when an OEM part fails. 10k can disappear faster than you think.

I'd stay NA, do the normal bolt-ons, coilovers, and wheels. $0.02

I looked over the 08 part!

I'm curious. Why do you not want a supercharger?

you dont have many options. Greddy or GTM is it for turbo kits. Both are gonna run ya pretty close to 10k installed and tuned with only the bare minimums for safety.

LS1/LS2 swap if you dont want to go FI. HR Twin turbos will cost about 11k+(installed), Supercharger maybe $7k+(instaled). The HR will hardly get 30whp with bolt ons. Maybe just go all out on wheels, exhaust, suspension and brakes. Then whatever you have extra keep as track day money.
