Just got to flash the car with the ROM today and tested it out. Works perfectly.
I was also talking to a buddy that works at Nissan, and if I get a new cluster they can send it out to re-flash it to my mileage for $50

Please do not PM me asking for info/help/whatever.
I have gotten numerous requests for info on setting this up, regarding the tuner that did my tune and the rom file and I have answered them all promptly and helpfully.
The last straw was a request to see if CC can be added by my tuner without getting a tune.
I spent my time finding out and passed the info on to the requester days ago and he did not have the courtesy to respond that he had the answer forget about thanking me.
I do not appreciate the way people think they can take without returning a minimal amount of courtesy.

Been suggested. Sure it'll work, an ecu is 100-1000 plus you need the dealer to program your keys so NATS will let the car start which is 100-150 per key depending on the stealer.
Also if you have any mods you should have some kind of computer mod that lets the system know you have made changes to the way the motor flows air/burns fuel.
Many tuners will do just cruise for less than he cost of a tune/license.
ymmv

well i was getting a little excited until you told me that im going to have the dealer reprogram the ecu for my freaking keys. i wonder if switching ecu will effect any of the tunes that are already on the utec?
well i already ordered the parts required to get this done. my only dilemma now is whether to switch over to uprev and love the ability to have a boost controller and map sensor built into my ems or go to uprev and have to buy a boost controller, pay for a new tune, and pay for the osiris program itself.
i guess im just gonna have to seesaw for a bit until i can find out which option will be cheaper to get freakin cc in my base.
what would you suggest e30???
keep the uprev with the tune i already have with all my data logging software and boost controller/map sensor built into the ems. and just purchase a cc ecu out of a revup 06 and have my keys programmed?
or
buy osiris, get a tune, buy a boost controller and lose the map sensor ability.
in all honesty do you think that osiris is that much more capable. im only making operating in the 400whp area. what would be the true gain of using osiris rather than sticking with what i have.
i really would just like some insight. i read your posts all the time so i have respect for the people who walked the line before i did.

This thread is kind of funny to me. I talked to uprev about this years ago. I checked pinouts on the base and cc models and verified everything was there but the clutch and brake switch. I'm amazed someone did this. Fords are the same way except they have the switches just no steering wheel controls lol.

Did u just get a cluster from a 350z that had cruise and did the cruise lights work or did u have to change something. I did the same uprev flash as u and supposedly it had cruise the cluster but none of the lights turn on. Have not torn it apart to see if it actually has led where the cruise lights ones are. Thanks for any help

Thanks for response. Also what are the led styles u put in the turn signals where the bulb style ones were? I'm changing all my lights at the moment and want to replace those while I have the cluster town apart. Thanks again
