Anyone have a review on Tomei 264 degree cams
 

I am very interested in having the Tomei's 264 degree cams but I would like to read a review before purchasing. I don't want to be a test dummy! I have read the reviews on the 268 degree cams but I don't remember if anyone has the 264's. Thanx

Haven't seen anyone with the 264s, honestly they are going to be closer and closer to the NISMO cams... which aren't yielding a HUGE gain.

NISMO is a great cam over stock, minor gains - not real unstreetable. Persay you won't lose that much low down torque. The 10 - 15 hp is an honest number. While you're doing this, I'm sure you're going to end up running headers... the differene in choices here are huge with cams. One of the 268 cars swapping in the Crawford headers, from NISMOS - made near 40 ft-lbs torque down low. Make sure which ever way you go, you use the best combination for you.

Just remember, the higher degree... the more greater shift in power. The higher the number more top end, the closer to stock ... means you'll still retain some of that nice oem torque.
