Pretty sure I blew my rear diff this weekend. Swap questions.
Hey all, I have an '06 Base with about 45K miles. Missed a shift merging and properly banged 2nd gear. Car won't move. At first, I suspected the clutch. Spec Stage 5 w/ Exedy 14# flywheel. I got the car towed home, jacked her up and spun the rear wheels. Sure enough, only one spins at a time. I'll be dropping the pumpkin this week and have a line on an Auto rear with 3.3 gears. I want to plug in some 3.9's. What more will I need than axles, and the pumpkin?

so you have a base with a stock diff?
base has oped non lsd diff, onlly one wheel spins all the time . maybe you messed up your transmission |
You prolly snapped the axle, Did the same thing 3 months ago. <---- Tilton Flywheel/Clutch. Basically sounds EXACTLY what happened to me. I have 48K on the car. The diff are pretty strong in the Z, I'd be surprised if it was the diff.

Base models are open rears. Sound like a trans problem I never heard of blowing a rear from a miss shift.. if you snapped the output shaft sheered flywheel bolts or something else. I'd be willing to bet a lot not the rear..
