Valve stem seals, didn't want to revive old thread
I have been looking through the old thread of all that's involved in the procedure, but I was still left with some questions. I've never done anything of this caliber before. So I wanted to get a solid breakdown before I even remove one bolt.
Anything special to consider when doing this procedure on a VQ35DETT? Johnwigs mentioned you had to remove some timing components, which components exactly do I need to remove first to prepare to remove the cams? And what things need to be done to reinstall these components as far as redoing the timing itself, etc |
You basically need to get a copy of the fsm. Your doing a cam job and removing the valvesprings. At least a 20 hr job. Timing cover and chain removal.
