HELP! My 350z won't start after Clutch Master/Slave went out
So few weeks ago I was stopped at a light, when suddenly my clutch pedal dropped to the ground, car stalled out and killed the battery. I immediately assumed the clutch master or slave cylinders went. I pushed the shifter back into neutral position, left the clutch down (so it presses the ignition switch) and tried to jump start the car. It did absolutely nothing.
Since then I've charged up another spare battery that I keep and put it on the car. With a fresh battery all the electronics work. However when I turn the key over to start it (clutch pedal still down to hold the switch) it clicks one time and kills the battery. If my clutch master and slave cylinder are out, shouldn't I still be able to turn the car on? why does my battery keep dying as soon as I try to crank? :dunno: Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you all. Specs: 2004 350z Touring 140k miles 6 speed manual transmission Fujitsubo Legalis R exhaust JWT pop charger intake w/ Cobb tube everything else is stock |
