Default Need help to Identify if CD009

So I just bought a transmission from a scrap.yard. they claimed it came out of a 2006 350z and it is a CD009. I purchased it and noticed now that the bellhousing has CD# 02 stamped on it which is ok, but the transmission tail (under shifter assembly) has CD# 01 stamped in it. It also has the older shifter linkage. Need to know ASAP if i got ripped off as i can return it and dont want to machine the wrong transmission to fit onto my motor. Thanks

Yes its a CD009. The rubber around the bushes on the shifter bracket show that it is cd 009. most that are like this are late build 2005 models. the real 2006 models have the empty space shifter bracket

This one has same filled in shifter but different mounting bushes (cant see the rubber) so not cd009

Yeup ill get on that. Currently taking bellhousing off to machine and fit my adapter plate. I got so scared because it took me forever to find this trans locally and i was hoping i didnt have to return it. Ok co.so if it has the older shifter bracket the way to till is if the holes are filled in?

And how come the Cd0#01 is on the tail rather then the Cd0#02 like the bellhousing. This threw me off so much.

Default Cars

I jus bought a cd009 but the case says cdo1 and it has the rubber shifter bushings that means a cd009 but jus the single hole shifter assembly and it came out of a 350z 35th anniversary so it should b a cd009 right or did I waste my money ? Things I read says that cd01 stamp trans are still a cd009 as long as after late 2005 like the 35th anniversary came out late 2005
