Welcome and that's a tall order for a first post. The problem you'll have with trying to DIY such a swap will be that you're trying to match an '07 vehicle with a part from an 09 (or later) Z. Mechanically, I've never attempted such a swap and while it may be possible, there is one additional complication. Nissan went with the rev-match system for the 370Z and that may or may not be built into the Z34 tranny. If it is, you're sunk. The software would be incompatible for a VQ35HR equipped car. Swapping ECMs wouldn't solve the problem, as the VQ37VHR was a different animal,

There is a thread on here about swapping to the manual and also one for the difference between a 370 and 350 manual transmission. I don't think the transmissions are swappable without machining the input shaft if I am remembering correctly. Alos it's a very large job and kind of expensive it's normally recomended to just sell the automatic and buy a manual.
