Default Tested a 350z 2005. Low rpm rattel

Hello 350z owners,
I tested a 350z (looking to buy one) and couldnt help but notice an awful Sound accuring when driving.

When driving in any gear at low rpms (1500 ish) you could hear a rasping metal sound from under the car. When driving above 2000rpm in same gear its gone. There is nog grinding going on switching geard and clutch engages high on the pedal.

My question; is the clutch gone bad ? Thrust bearing or resonating exhaust?.. I did not buy the car just yet
hope you Guys can give me some advice or know the issue.

Thanks,

It's probably just a heat shield rattling. I had the same thing happen to mine. Mention it to the seller so that you can get it up in the air to check.

light weight flywheel is not something you would have to fix lol. It means they put a new flywheel in prolly new clutch as well if so. Basically it frees up alil hp that normally woulda been lost by the stock "heavy" flywheel. But they tend to have alil bit of a chatter to them. But stock Z tranny tend to have a similar sound already. It's more of a vey quite fast paced knocking sound on something hollow. Best I can describe. The heat shield would sound more like a aluminum can rattling against metal.
