Just bought an 06 rev-up. Hello, I've got questions

Been looking around for a good month now and I've finally given in on a 06 base 350z. It had 78k miles for only $6.3k I feel that was the best deal I could get regardless of how many scratches it had. Seeing how the HRs in my area+200 miles were all high miles and going for 10-12k, I felt it was better to use the money saved to build the engine at some point or try and or boost with low psi.

After looking at it's vin history, somebody did 30k miles in about a year. I can't imagine somebody doing 10 oil changes in a busy year like that... plus it's still rocking tires from 2011. What are some things I should be looking into?
My current goal is, oil change immediately, new tires/rims, clutch, then work towards the making it my street-able drift car.

Change ALL fluids dude.
Seems like a good price. Why not clean it up, sell it and make a few bucks instead of trashing it and maybe someone else street drifting ?

:worthless:

Agreed^^ unless you have a documented service history, change the following:

-tranny and diff lubricants (they're different; so do some research)
-radiator fluid
-brake and clutch fluid (upgrade to high-temp DOT 4 fluid)

As for the tires, how much actual tread is left? If less than 2/32nds, replace them now.

Why would they do 10 oil changes in 30k miles ?

From looking at the vin history, somebody did a good 30k in a year, I would assume the previous owner. I really doubt this guy would do 10 in a year, is what I was saying.

Gatta love vehicle reports. I bought my car from a salvaged auction and the record still show it's a clean title no crash reports found but they have my current mileage :rofl2:

And you think 0 miles were put on the car in the 2 years prior? I wouldn't trust anyone to put mileage in accurately, especially a lowest-common-denominator, melanin-qualified, government employee.
