Finally have the aluminum valve covers on. These have serviceable spark plug seals, and you can powdercoat them. One issue I had was some fitment with the driver's side pcv and the oil fill stem, both need to be trimmed. The farthest front passenger side coil pack didnt bolt up, no issues yet though, you can definitely make a bracket though.
They are from an 2000-2001 (possibly 2002) Nissan Pathfinder as well as a 2001 Infiiniti QX4
Make sure they have the VQ35de, the older models of the Pathfinder and QX4 have a different engine
Gotcha. I was asking because they look different than the pair that I have my car which are from a pathfinder. I wasn’t sure if someone was making them aftermarket now.

I don’t and have never owned a pathfinder. I have VQ35DE metal valve covers that were from a 2001 QX4 (Infiniti’s variant of the pathfinder) if I remember correctly. Mine are modified...
I like the oil fill stem modification and -an line fittings welded on. Did you mill the raised surface of one of the holes where the coil pack mounts to as well as deleting the crossover nipples? I removed a couple of the extra threaded holes that weren't needed on the valve cover.
Also did you do something so that the OEM 350z coil packs fit? Looks like you may have made the diameter larger so that the coil packs sealed against the valve cover.
@Kwame care to share some more info on your VC mods? Which filler cap did you end up using? It looks like a Trick Flow push-in style cap that I've seen on Summit before.

I may have bit off more than I can chew as these were modified a long time ago and I’ve honestly forgotten all that was done.
From what I remember the internal baffles were removed to make clearance for the camshaft lobes (I’m running Tomei 280s intake and exhaust). A custom “baffle” was made right on the internal side of the AN fittings. I believe we did shave down the casting for the first coil pack on the passenger side.
That’s all I can remember from over ten years ago.
