Default What did I do wrong?

I own a 2005 350Z (DE). I recently changed the camshaft sensors, crankshaft sensor, OEM new fuel injectors, new valve cover gaskets, new knock sensor amd knock sensor harness, new MAF, new coil packs and sparkplugs and I changed every single gasket. Now when I start the car it cranks forever before it finally catches. The car idles rough sounds like its cammed, and it smells of gas. I drive it and everytime the RPMs drop from slowing down it starts backfiring. Then my Service Engine Soon light starts flashing (meaning a misfire). I get it home and it stalls out, once it stalls it will NOT start until it sits for awhile. I think its flooding. I tried running codes but didnt get anything. I did the ECU relearn and idle air relearn and nothing. Everything was torqued down to spec and everything is installed correctly. What did I do wrong?

With that many changes, anyone's guess. You sure you hooked the coil pack wires up correctly? Common error back when I used to hang out here.....

Sounds like you changed a bunch of parts to fix a problem without diagnosing the actual issue. . .

I found out what was wrong. The fuel injectors the company sent me even though they say its OEM has a much differemt spray pattern compared to the stock injectors. Therefore the gas wasnt igniting right, OR to much gas to ignite even tho the CC is the same as stock. Put my stock injectors back in and no problem. However the car still took forever to crank. I ran it really hard to clear the engine of any extra gas. After about 25 mins of HARD driving and drifting the car didnt smell like gas anymore. Now its back to normal and runs stronger than ever before!

Nice that you came back with the resolution. Iíve been reading so many posts with questions and usually there is no conclusion.
