My 350Z 2006 won't start
 

Bought a used 350z 2006 a couple weeks ago and yesterday when i was trying to get my z for a ride, it will crank for about a second and just wont start, making a whinning noise. I let the car sit for a couple of minutes and then tryed again, and it started like normal

What troubleshooting have you done?

Could be a lack of fuel pressure, with the fuel pressure regulator failing to hold enough line pressure. Also, check the diagnostic system for any codes held in memory.
