The tilton clutch its self is only 8lbs... and only 7.25" diamater... stock clutch is about 11" in diamater... I believe that one is 9.X"?
so there is more rotating mass...
The whole Tilton Cerametallic disk clutch and flywheel weights 16lbs'...
now... We are one of a few authorized sellers of Carbon Carbon disk's for tilton... The 2 disk carbon/carbon clutch from tilton is not only 7.25" but will also slip like the ATS one spoken of in that thread...
it is a larger diamater so it is going to have more holding power.. but no where near the performance as far as revving and acceleration horse power increase...
here is some more info on the TILTON stuff...
Size: = Application: = Clutch Type: = Discs: = Rated TQ: = MOI (lb-in2)
7.25" = Racing = Metallic = 1 = 310lb-ft = 44.1lb-in2
7.25" = Rally = Metallic = 1 = 310lb-ft = 54.5lb-in2
7.25" = Racing = Metallic = 2 = 620lb-ft = 66.0lb-in2
7.25" = Rally = Metallic = 2 = 620lb-ft = 78.3lb-in2
7.25" = Racing = Metallic = 3 = 930lb-ft = 87.6lb-in2
7.25" = Racing = Metallic = 4 = 1240lb-ft = 113.1lb.in2
now the Carbon Carbon clutches..
7.25" = Racing and Rally = Carbon/Carbon = 1 = 310lb-ft = 42.0lb-in2
7.25" = Racing and Rally = Carbon/Carbon = 2 = 620lb-ft = 49.7lb-in2
7.25" = Racing and Rally = Caronb/Carbon = 3 = 930lb-ft = 59.3lb-in2
remember... these clutches are to be used only on the tilton flywheel which has a very small surface area...

or another, perhaps?
Could you provide a link to where one might see the price?
Thanks.
