RPS Releases new Hybrid Flywheel!

Well the smart guys at RPS Performance Parts have decided to do something a little different. They have drilled there Cyn-R-G Segmented Flywheel with a bolt pattern to accept both a 350Z pressure plate and the ever so popular 300zx pressure plate. What does this mean well for one the 300zx pressure plate is larger allowing for more stress and longevity at loads. Not to menssion the amount of 300zx clutches avalible on the market. This is one of the best products i've seen as far as drivetrain for the 350Z/G35 cars.

Here is some more product information:
The last flywheel you will ever have to buy. The patented segmented heat shield design will not warp like other common one piece heat shields. All our
CYN-R-G flywheels are highly engineered with these benefits like dynamically balanced, crushed Heli coil inserts, stepped dowel pins, and over-sized lock-down bolts that are welded to the ring gear for positive retention. This also features a precise ring for the drive-by-wire pick up signal.
Weight: 18 lbs.

About time! How much are they? Plus how much for the clutch that goes with it?

Curious , hat clutch would you recommedn that would work with tihs Fly, support >600rwhp and be streetable (aka can be slipped). Any ideas? I'm in the midst of a long block build for use with an APS TT. Am considering an ATS Carbon-Carbon, but i'm open for options. Thanx

Retail on the flywheel is $599 we have them listed for $509

If you decide to go with the 300zx setup you will need to use all 300zx parts ie throw out bearing, pilot bearing.

You can use any of the 300zx clutches stock, RPS, ACT, excedy, ect single discs. I don't know about their carbon yet do to the fact that they have a carbon carbon for the 350z coming out in the next month or so.

If you go with the RPS 300zx stuff you could do the max series PP with either 6 puck disc or the street disc
Maxx PP and Street disc has a torque capacity of 550 and sells for $449

The Maxx PP and the 6 puck has a torque capacity of 625 and sells for $513

Both of the clutches are very streetable and are slippable.
