My point exactly. People are way over thinking the harness and making it hard on themselves. Forgot all the companies that say they can make a harness because not a single one has done it consistently.

So Logan, you worked at chasebays and swore by their harness in your car. So why are you changing it now? I can understand changing the sikky mounts to fueled racing but whats the problem with the chasebays harness?
* cough cough * Hello... my car had the quickest turn time from swap to street, does things that nobody else can do (stock gauges), doesn't overheat in 90*F summer temps and harness is cutom built for my application.

Its not cheap... but like I said, my car is actually on the street.

Just saw the last post and felt like making a post. My car still has all the stock gauges working, doesn't overheat in any temp, even really getting into it repeatedly, and doesn't have any crazy production harness. Bobby at CIN Motorsports used his knowledge and wired both the Nissan and Gm computers into the car. If you want something done right, that's who I'd recommend.

Check out my YouTube videos of the car. Just search for this same screen name.

Mine took two months or less and most of the time was spent waiting on the motor to get built, trans to get built and shipped and the sikky kit to arrive.
Doesnt over heat with stock RAD still has AC. If you plan your swap it can be done in days its not rocket science.

CIN FTW Just mailed them some LSX swap parts for Bryan Settels car.

Sideways - you can use the stock rad and fans depending on the swap kit you are using you might have to do some cutting on the shroud. I used the sikky kit the first time around and had to cut a little. If you use the fueled kit then you wont have to cut any since it sits so far back.

For this 2nd time around since im going boosted I have changed to a 24x13x3 radiator with -16AN fittings and no filler neck. Its a dual pass so the cooling should be perfect and it sits right behind my intercooler perfectly. PRC hot rod did this for me for 329.99

I'm also running a 24x13x3 double pass made by Howe Racing. One 12" fan and I am good all day on temps with high compression.

Just purchased a Meziere 40gpm electric water pump and all my nitrous components. Bottle is mounted and per-firewall is cut out. The car will be in beast mode early September... then for sale when I get into the 9's.

UGH my VQ is toasted. Not exactly sure what happened to it yet. So, looks like I will be coming up with a parts list soon for an LS then asking for a critique.

Mishimoto radiator, just because I already had it installed and Spal slimline fans. The sizes and part numbers are in my build thread.

Nick, seems there may be two shops that really know what they are doing then

You have any pics of what you did?

I don't need Air Conditioning
I don't need VDC but I'd like ABS to keep me from flatspotting tires.

Otherwise I just need a bad *** motor/ trans combo that will allow my car to lay waste to everyone because roadracecar. Please help my Z demolish the competitions.

After reading a couple of nights this is what I am thinking I will need to buy so far.
modifications to the list if needed is appreciated.

-Fueled Racing Swap kit.
-Fueled Racing Clutch Hydraulics Kit?
- Aftermarket clutch and Flywheel?
-Fueled Racing Aluminum or Carbon Fibre drive shaft?
-Upgraded Radiator?
- Speedhut 4” Tach.
- custom exhaust
-LS2 T56 drop out. 2005 or 2006 GTO.
- Get GM VATS system disabled.
- Custom Harness?
- Walbro 255 fuel pump?

Looking good Quamen.

Does anyone know for sure if the AC compressor can be removed with the engine in the car? Does anyone have an AC compressor for an LS2 for sale?
