the inercooler should handle 850- 900
if my intake temps start getting to outrageous i will upgrade to a bigger one.

Start on the X-axis ... at the 77% efficiency oval (that center island) you can move ~50 to ~55 lbs/min with a (look at the Y-axis) pressure ratio of ~2.2:1.

your pressure ratio is your boost pressure divided atmospheric pressure ... at sea level it's 14.7psi.

At your turbos peak efficiency you can move ~50 to ~55 cfm at ~30 to ~32psi ...

You can push the turbo harder to 40-42psi (pressure ratio of 3:1) and move ~60lbs/min of air but you're decreasing your turbos efficiency, adding heat, spinning the blower harder, etc.

I love the adage that boost pressure does not equal air flow

this is how I understand a compressor map but I'd love to hear more insight from members with more FI experience than myself.

if i under stand that right how would i have made 630 wheel at 24psi if the peck efficiency is at 30 32 flowing only 55 cfm that would only be about 500whp wouldn't it

your turbo was operating under its optimal efficiency.

I'm not sure how to correlate your whp to a flow rate of a blower.

Youd have to really dig down and factor in your drive train losses/losses on the dyno/the differences between the compressor maps optimal operating environment vs. what the car was tested at to get a link between your peak efficiency and your dyno-gauged hp measurement.

Working on the bumper, trying to decide what to do with the open space left in the grill. To make a duct directing the air to the intercooler or use mesh.

A bigger, better quality intercooler will net you more power as well to keep AITs down especially if you wanna push 40psi with your 2J.

I have a Treadstone TR1245 and I love it!

Remember air will take the path of least resistance, so instead of all the air going through the intercooler some will go around it. I would either find a way to close the gaps or get a bigger fmic. Just my .02 though.

Great effort man. Were you able to get a functioning tach and speedo? Also, what did you come up with for the throttle cable?

The speedo works with out any modifying. I used a canbus gauge for the tac. Perfect tuning gauge. The tc is a off the shelf autozone cable
