Any pics of ground clearance? Curious to know if it hangs low anywhere and if it is good for slammed z's as im pretty damn low, dont want to scuff up pretty Ti! :)

I tracked my shipment yesterday on the fedex website. I am expecting to the Tomei titanium exhaust and y-pipe full setup to deliver to my door today. I am so excited :icon21::icon21::icon21:and I can't sleep. I am up 3:00 am to wait for it and nothing else to do to post this message. I will take some pictures, and post them on this thread, so everyone can see it. Plus, I will make video after it is installed, and will post comments on how I feel about the Tomei setup. So, stay tuned.:icon38:

Currently the only photographs are those from Tomei. I'm sure with Monkey's excitement we won't fall short with pics lol.

Regards,
Robert

There are installed photos and more on the net but out of respect of MVP I shall not post them within this thread.

If you're as low as you say you are, then there's no avoiding scraping the piping at some point or another. Even stock mufflers and pipes get scraped up.

I say just go for it. It's a REALLY good price for the full exhaust shipped, especially for Ti, and especially for Tomei parts...

Pics asap! If you can take pictures from the side once installed and the car is on the ground, i am really curious to know how ground clearance compares to other single out exhausts. Maybe a pic from the back also (all under the car with the outside of the car visible for comparison)

You would rock if you got pics :) :icon44:

I am fully aware of this, the only problem is that Ti isnt as durable as SS, and excessive scraping/hitting may cause it to crack. At least this has been my experience with other people and Ti exuast. It may be brand specific as well as maybe thickness of piping etc. But i really dont want to deal with cracked Ti. Although i DO plan on raising the car a bit this weekend, been trying to do some spirited driving lately and its getting anoying scraping all over the place lol. I think im done with the whole "lower than thou" crap lol :werd:

Maybe the vendor could fill us in with some info on this? By no means am i bashing the product just curious is all. This thing looks REALLy cool and Tomei always has really nice stuff. Just trying to figure out if its worth the money or if i should get get something cheaper that i wont feel bad about destroying lol

Chops@MVP 02-13-2013 01:55 PM

You are 100% correct on Ti being extremely more likely to crack due to excessive scraping. If you are already scrapping I would highly advise raising the car up to save the exhaust.

Robert
