I like the confort of my G and the styling, but from a power to weight ratio and ease of working on things, I'm more of a B13/G20 S13/S14 kind of person for power.
3L twin turbo = 300HP from Nissan? sure, more like 370HP. 3.5L non turbo is 280? sure :-)
bottom line...........change your exhaust and turbo it

So I do like your suggestion about the exhaust ahem turbo kit. I hope my wife can agree too haha. Which leads me to a couple more questions: I looked at the pics from JGY. Do I need to switch to a single 3" exhaust for the kit to work properly? Can the downpipe include a metallic catalytic converter as an option and how much?

Yep, I believe that Nissan had overachieving cars in the 90's-early 2000's. My 97 Maxima GXE 5sp did 14.0 @98mph on the 1/4mi. I'm not sure my G35C with a rated "100hp more crank" can match that on the first day of test and tune. This is why I haven't even taken it there yet lol. My S13 traps at 116mph lol. It got 30mpg back from FD Atlanta back in '05.

My favorite for driving is S13 over S14, but they are close. If it's S14, no sunroof for this lanky bastard, not enough room. in reference to that, I drove my wife's P11 G20 yesterday.......I'm like Chris Farley in a little guy's coat in that thing. I'm 6foot3inch, 190lbs and I'm all over it. both knees are at dash/steering wheel/door. head is up top so I look out the tinted part of the windshield.............
If we use the car for trips, I have figured out that by removing my wallet, I can sit about 1/2inch lower it's so bad. I recline the seat like a wannabe gangster just so that I have more room for my head.
Not a true dual to answer your question. I have the JGY Kanji brand exhaust on my G and that setup wouldn't be a direct fit with that turbo kit. If you had a back half dual........like what the factory setup is, yes you could have dual exhaust. The turbo kit is setup to fit the factory exhaust.
yes, I'm sure JGY could weld a cat into the DP for you. 3inch cats are cheap
If I was turboing mine, I would just make a pipe to fit from the turbo exit downpipe to my dual. I am NOT a fan of the single exit exhaust on the G35C especially with the factory bumper for 2 tips.
My wife's G35, I actually have already bought a Topspeed exhaust for it before they ran out. I sware the G's and Z's around here rust prematurely or something. I haven't installed the exhaust, but have it for when we need it.

word on the street is that he's trying to trade it to a local guy for a WRX
I was told by the 350z guy that the WRX is in rough shape.
Hopefully the new owner that lives 1 mile away from us will bring it back for us to finish what the first owner quit on.
Here's JGY at Nopi Nationals 2 days ago.

We took the car over and got some photos with some of the NOPI ladies. These are just from Brennan's phone. His phone photography may not be the best, but at least you get a glimpse of what he saw.

it's confirmed
He traded his car for a 2004 or so WRX.
It's certainly a weird trade. I'm not sure how you confince someone that your car is in good shape when you explain that under full throttle, you better not go above 5000rpms.
The guy that got the 350z lives about 2 miles from here and works next door to JGY.
