Default Tubi 350Z muffler; only 1 in existence

Prototype made in Maranello, Italy but production never started because of high cost and projected retail price. Unit installed on US 350z back in 2003 and removed a couple of thousand miles later. Sounded very high pitch racy, different from other choices at the time. Everyone liked it. Wrapped, boxed and stored ever since. Offered now like new, no blemish, polished at a fraction of initial cost. $1,100 OBO. Pick up anywhere in OC or south bay, Socal.

find a Z install it and do some pulls make lots of videos. 1100 is alot of dough for a high pitch sound no one has ever heard. who cares how rare it is if it sounds like sjit.

not trying to **** on your post but it's rarity is sorta an anchor ... if it was worth so much and so desirable why were they not brought to market? Everyone and their brother makes an exhaust for this car...

tomei makes expensive exhausts and shops/suppliers cant keep them in stock and people pay 'new' prices for 'used' tomei equipment.

$1100 is pretty steep...

This is a for sale thread so the OP is free to ask whatever he wants for it.

But FWIW, Tubi is a pretty well respected exhaust mfgr to Ferrari (well, of course, they're based in Maranello) but also to a lot of the big name exotics in Europe.

If its the only one in existence how did you come to own it?

Wouldve been interested if it had been true duel :/

As far as cost goes, arc and GReddy exhausted are 3k+ so i cant fathom that cost was what stop production.

I am sorry I did not realize that the demographics of this site have changed; I have not been regularly on this site for over 10 years. Tubi is known the world over for custom and series products applicable mostly to european exotic sports cars. Their only non-euro application is the Nissan GTR and that muffler retails for about $4,000. Tubi has been making some of the best exhaust products in the world, a few hundred yards from the Ferrari factory. They have also been involved in Formula 1 and endurance racing cars. Clearly, whoever would be interested in this one-off exhaust would be familiar or had experienced a Tubi sound on a Ferrari, Lambo, Porsche etc. It is unfortunate that a whole bunch of audio files made when the unit was installed on a 2003 Z are lost on some old computer and no more available. Here are a couple of links to Tubi Style manufacuring and to their only official distributor in the US.

One last remark: I personally commissioned the prototype, that is why it is in my possession.

Thank you. Funny, you made me think like how many subscribers to this forum (out of 10) actually know who "schumacher" is?

Oh, I didn't depend on that textual clue. Too easy. I counted the header tubes..... 5 per bank = Ferrari F1 V10 = Engines that powered Schumi to five world titles.
