Alright, Mod Fabricators. I need pedals like this...

Take a look at the shape of the throttle pedal. I can't heel/toe with the stock throttle pedal in the Z. Can someone make a new set? :D

This is from the upcoming RX-8...

maybe you just need some practice. Seen the guys in best motoring do it just fine when they test drove it on the track. (and we're not talking big feets here either)

the shape of the pedal difference there is not gonna solve the problem.

I think it's how far you can twist and articulate your foot that makes the difference. :D ( although I like those pedals and wouldn't mind having a set ).

I can barely get my foot past the 45 degrees off vertical so getting both pedals at once is challenging... getting my foot to articulate AND touch both is another challenge.

I just tested my g/f. I think she can heel/toe more naturally than me. Damnit...

Oh really? Funny how that pedal looks almost IDENTICAL to the mods that RX-7 owners did to their own throttle pedals. A longer pedal means my heel is hitting the bottom instead of falling off like it does now. IMO, the Z's pedal is top-heavy and needs to move down further on it's connection point.

it can be done with the stock pedals.

just an idea, but perhaps your feet are TOO big? maybe those pedals were designed for a smaller foot. I worked at a sports shoe for a little while, and japanese men often asked for a size 9 or smaller...

so I guess you might be right. can they not be manually adjusted? I know aftermarket ones can be set however close your comfortable with.
