OEM 6spd Shift **** Rattle...is there a fix?
My OEM 6spd shift **** rattles. the only way to cure the rattle is to turn the shift **** tighter, which of course makes it look weird and not feel as comfortable. Orginally i only turned it about an 1/8 of a turn, but then it started rattling again, so now it is at a 1/4 turn.
Does anyone know a fix for this where i can keep my shift **** straight?
Thanks!!

im willin go tbet that if its ratteling and you can turn it to tighten it up then you should be able to just screw it off. give it a shot if you cant then you may have to use the ways described by others to get it off.
