Stock Hid's or Not?
 

I have a 2003 Z and love that it has stock HID's

My friend has 1990 300zx twin turbo, any way he bought a HID kit from ebay for like $260.00 bucks! Man those things are bright and blue!

Do you guys think I should leave my stock bulbs alone, or buy bighter bluer 8k or 10k bulbs?

My Z is bright but not as bright or as blue as I want it, Just want your guys's opinion on this?

By the way the 8k blue Hid bulbs are like 90 bucks on ebay for a SET!

well, if they arent bright enough, then you are screwed unless you retrofit a nice ballast in. the higher kelvin you go. the more "dim" the lights get. what comes stock provides the most lumens as you are going to get with the 350z's reflector headlights

Retrofit some TSX/S2000 projectors in them. They will be brighter and the cut off will be sharper. Anything over 6000k in temperature is pretty much weaksauce.
