do the backs of the lights look the same? Can you take all the parts out of the back of your HID light assembly and swap them into 03-05 base model light assemblies? I can get a base model light and look but it figured i would ask before i do that.

I've swapped in stock HIDS into my NON-HID headlights, had to cut out circles on the cap and make my own metal clips. The light output didn't improve much. After spending that money I decided to get 06 complete assemblies... 06s are WAY worth it IMO.

thanks, i work in a bodyshop and have anything i need to make it work, i hate to spend 1300.00 dollars on headlights so base model lights are the way to go for cheap. Only reason for this is because i don't like my lights that i took apart and painted and they have been apart about 5 times already and i don't want to keep taking them apart.Thanks for the help.
