Yes ladies and germs, I did this mod also and its soooo worth it. The single exhaust guys definitely need to do this mod, it looks too good. Next on my list are gt spec parts and a rear diff cover with the cooler fins.

Here are the pics...

I agree dual looks better and cleaner, but if you want to save weight and get a sweet exhaust tone, single is the way to go. I miss my greddy evo2's, this thing is uber loud.

I like it a lot, you would be able to see my blue SPL diff mounts.

Did you just cut out the center of the stock bumper? If so, what did you use?

No i bent it upwards and used 4 self tapping screws.

This is nice! Could you give us a step by step instructions on how to modify your bumper like in the pic? I have HKS setup, and would love to have the same look . Thanks..

I can definately tell you've had a Supra...:D
But it looks surprisingly good on the Z.

Did you put the screws through the actual bumper?

ctwentytwo 12-26-2006 07:55 PM

Nice. Also nice wing :) Damn, everytime I see the Blitz wing, get a little green with envy. Eh... :(

i never really liked the single exhaust because of the other empty exhuast opening, but after seeing this picture it changed my mine. GReat Job.

DaveZ06 12-26-2006 08:09 PM

all you need now is a giant 5"+ tip for that crazy supra look!

rAwBz33 12-26-2006 08:29 PM

thats CLEAN if i was to go with a single id do the same nice job

Most people use the tabs on the bottom of the bumper that is attached to the rear bumper support. Mine unfortunately was seperated from the tabs because my stock muffler broke it off.

I actually drilled through the rear bumper and onto the rear bumper support for this look. I used 4 self tapping screws which take a while to go through the bumper support.

ssgohan434 12-27-2006 01:13 AM

davidf 12-27-2006 04:30 AM

Have fun with the diff. cover install.

SpoilsofWar 12-27-2006 07:01 AM

I like it, great job. The empty exhaust port was my whole argument against single exhausts, so now I guess I dont have one lol

97supratt 12-27-2006 07:21 AM

davidf - is it difficult to install it?

ssgohan434 - Blitz wing.

3hree5ive0ero - I'll take pics tonight when I get home from work. :)
